We decided to not sell our home because of medical reasons. We requested that High Performance Real Estate take our home of the market and cancel our contract with them. Their reply was we will let you out of the contract if you pay $1500 per the terms of the contract. Obvious;y we did not read all of the contract due to the massive length and terms included and the $1500 fee was not verbally disclosed to us during the contract review with the agent. We were advised that if they leave our house on MLS for the duration of the contract (6 MONTHS) that they would not charge us the $1500. By the way the 6 Months duration was also not disclosed to us verbally. We agreed to let them continue to list our property for the entire 6 months with a no showings clause. Bottom line - Beware of their contract and READ it all despite them trying to rush you through the contract signing.
